This calculator accounts for pattern repeats, which are often the source of errors. ### Pattern Match - **Free Match**: Easiest, minimal waste. - **Straight Match**: Patterns line up horizontally. Moderate waste. - **Drop Match (Offset)**: Patterns are offset from one strip to the next. This creates the most waste. ### Standard Calculation A standard roll is approx 21 inches (0.53m) wide by 33 feet (10m) long. You generally get 3 to 4 drops per roll depending on ceiling height and pattern repeat. ### Tip Always buy all your rolls at the same time and check they have the same **batch number** to avoid color shading differences.
