This calculator estimates your daily hydration needs based on weight and activity. ### Basic Rule It is often recommended to drink about **0.5 to 1 ounce of water per pound of body weight**. - Or approx 30-35ml per kg. ### Adjustment Factors - **Exercise**: Add 12-20oz (0.5L) per hour of intense workout. - **Heat**: Needs increase significantly in hot weather. - **Diet**: Fruits and vegetables provide about 20% of our water.
